In Lisbon, the police use electric powered tricycles and quadricycles. Now they can react quicker to emergencies and can more easily travel greater distances.
E-cargobikeSince 2011, Danish Post uses electric tricycles to deliver containers of packages and parcels to companies. By replacing traditional bikes with electric types, routes can be longer and the need to store packages and parcels lowers substantially. Source: childcare centre De Notedop in Houten (the Netherlands), children are picked up by an e-cargobike from school and brought to the childcare centre.Owner Thomas Rijniers from Treade Treecare (Nijmegen, the Netherlands), uses an e-cargobike for the transport of his materials (ropes, climbing material, chain saw etc.).
E-scooterThe Bezorgbeer, a restaurant chain from Spijkenisse (the Netherlands), started using their first electric scooter to deliver meals at home. This is a success, also because of the extra battery package, increasing the range up to 120 km.In Paris and Marseille (France), people can order an e-scooter or motorbike for trips form the city to airport Orly. A suitcase of up to ten kilos, a helmet, protective suit and gloves are included in the price.In the Spanish city of Valencia, lighting maintenance is done by using e-scooters. Hereby it contributes to the cities’ goals on sustainability and emissions reduction.
